Super clean condition 10 commensurate with its zero usage and newer age. ![]() It did have a serial number too.ĮDIT: If you take a look at mine in my gallery you can see the serial number and it does not have the "DW". For ones’ purchasing consideration is this like new mint condition 2006 Morgan Monroe MMS-2W mandolin (Gibson F-5 copy) serial number 06020004 in beautiful sunburst with mint original hard shell case. Mine was indeed made in Korea and has the Rocky Top name. I thought there were rocks in my path, but each was a stepping-stone. I think the ones with the serial number were made in Korea by Dae Won the numbers start with DW, and the ones without a number were made after they moved their plant to china. All the adds for the Cascade say it has an 18 hole tone ring, but mine has 19. ![]() I don't think the NMB-1 has a flat head tone ring if yours doesn't have one it's probably an NMB-1. ![]() I have a Cascade which is in the Foggy Mountain Series, but came with a Rocky Top truss rod cover. The MNB-1 is in what they call the Rocky Top Series. Morgan Monroe lumps their banjos in two groups - Rocky Top Series, and Foggy Mountain Series.
